Executive Summary

Integrated Holding's inaugural 2025 ESG report demonstrates a solid governance and disclosure foundation for a first-time reporter, prepared in alignment with GRI 2021 and IFRS S1/S2 (TCFD-equivalent), mapped to Boursa Kuwait ESG guidance, UN SDGs, and New Kuwait Vision 2035. Governance is the strongest pillar, with comprehensive committee structures, a robust ethics and anti-corruption framework featuring anonymous whistleblowing and Audit Committee oversight, and zero reported regulatory violations. Environmental performance is at an early stage: only single-year Scope 1 emissions are disclosed (no Scope 2/3, no targets), and a data discrepancy in diesel figures weakens methodology reliability, though ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications and a credible IFRS S2 climate-risk framework provide structure. Social performance shows strong, well-documented OHS management and quantified training, but is undermined by the complete absence of safety performance metrics (no LTIFR/TRIR/fatality data), very weak diversity (11% female board, 0 female hires, 8 Kuwaitis of 1,067), and emerging-stage community and supply-chain programs. Overall, the company has built credible frameworks but must now add quantification, targets, external assurance, and performance metrics to mature its ESG profile.

Strengths

Robust governance and ethics framework: comprehensive board committees (Audit, Risk, Nomination/Remuneration, Executive), zero reported regulatory violations, and a confidential whistleblowing mechanism with anonymity and direct Audit Committee access.
Strong multi-framework inaugural ESG disclosure aligned to GRI 2021, IFRS S1/S2, Boursa Kuwait ESG guidance, UN SDGs, and New Kuwait Vision 2035, with a detailed Framework Mapping Register and double materiality assessment.
Comprehensive OHS management backed by ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001 certifications, extensive safety training, mock drills, and coverage across all employees, sites, and activities.

Areas for Improvement

Emissions and energy quantification: disclose Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions, resolve the diesel consumption data discrepancy, add energy intensity metrics, multi-year trends, and quantified reduction targets.
Safety and diversity performance metrics: report LTIFR, TRIR, fatality and near-miss data, and establish quantified diversity/nationalization targets to address very low female (11% board, 0 female hires) and Kuwaiti (8 of 1,067) representation.
External assurance and program maturity: obtain independent ESG assurance, expand supplier ESG screening beyond the current 5-of-21 coverage, and strengthen community investment with quantified spend and beneficiary outcomes.
